Step 1:
Click on the Windows “Search” bar next to the “Start” menu icon. Enter “settings” in the search bar and click on the first option provided OR press the Enter key. This will open the Windows “Settings” application.
Alternatively, you can press "Windows Key + I" to open the Settings app.
Step 2:
Click on the “Time and Language” section. It includes options such as “Date and time”, “Region and language” and “Voice”.
Step 3:
In the “Time and language” configuration window, click on “Region and language” located in the submenus on the left. Click "Add a language" if you want to add the language or change the current language.
Step 4:
Choose one of your languages, for example "French".
Step 5:
Now, the "French" language is subdivided into regional languages in which French is spoken. You can choose the appropriate language according to your choice, for example “French” (France).
Step 6:
Now the above language is added in the “Languages” section. You can click on it and download the language pack as it is an optional download.
Step 7:
If you want to set it as the primary language for reading and writing, click on the language above and click on “Set as default”. Your current language will be changed.
