If you are using Windows 10 on your phone, it makes sense that the lock screen is there when you accidentally enter your operating system without your knowledge while you have your phone in your pocket. However, some people find it unnecessary to have a lock screen on their desktop PC. For these, here is a quick solution to disable the lock screen by editing the registry.
How to disable the Windows 10 lock screen by editing the registry
Step 1# Just press key Windows + r . In the Run box that appears, enter regedit.
Step 2# In the left menu panel, navigate the path below.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE SOFTWARE Policies Microsoft Windows
Now in the left pane, right click on the Windows folder and create a new key called Customization.
Call it like Customization
Now right click on the right side and create a new value of Dword (32 bit) like NoLockScreen.
Call it like NoLockScreen. Next, double-click on it and set the value data to 1. Finally, click OK.
All right now. Restart the computer to make changes to the account. Boom, you won't have that lock screen on your PC anymore.
Tip: If you want to restore it, delete the input key described above.
