
If you look closely at the desktop, you may notice a blue and yellow shield on some of the icons. An application has a yellow and blue Shield with its icon simply means that whenever a user opens that app, User Account Control will recognize the user's permission to open that application. It can be annoying as it can decimate the look of the desktop background. There is a simple solution to fix this on your computer. Follow this solution and repeat these steps for every icon that has this yellow and blue shield and this problem will be fixed in no time.
Fix 1: replace it with a new shortcut
1. The right mouse button in the program e choose the location of the open file.
2. The right mouse button in the selected program and choose create a shortcut.
3. Now, copy e dough this newly created desktop shortcut.
4. Now, To remove Previous icon with shield.
5. Now, Rename this icon pasted.
Solution 2: Use the scheduler
1. close calendar in the Windows 10 search box. Click the search result to open Event Agenda.
2. Click Create activity.
3. Now, type the program name into name.
4. Verification Run with the highest privileges.
5. Select Windows 10 in the Configure for drop-down menu.
6. Click all right.
7. Click New.
8. Now click navigation.
9. Find the target location of the program. If you don't know the target location of the program, simply the right mouse button in the program and click property.
10. Now go to the program location and select the executable file in the location.
11. Now click all right.
12. Next, click Terms form.
13. Uncheck the two Power Energy options. just start the activity…. e stop if the computer….
14. Click all right.
15. Now, the right mouse button on your desktop anywhere and choose new and then click shortcut.
16. Now call the shortcut as schtasks / run / tNorth part program name
Rename the program with the name provided in Task Scheduler in step 3.
17. Click next e all right after.
18. Now, the right mouse button and choose property on this newly created icon.
19. Now click change icon.
20. Choose relevant icon of your preference.
Solution 3: removing Iconcache
1. Press CTRL + SHIFT + ESC keys simultaneously from the keyboard.
2. Right-click on Windows Explorer and choose final task.
3. Now click Proceedings and then click Run new activity.
4. Write cmd.exe on it and check
5. Now, once the cmd window is open, copy and paste the command given below.
del / AH "% localappdata% iconcache.db"
6. Now click Proceedings and then click Create new business still.
7. Write explorer.exe on it and click OK.
Solution 4: Uncheck Run as administrator
1. Uninstall the program.
2. Reinstallalo.
3. Now, before doing anything, right click on the program and choose property.
4. Click Compatibility.
5. Deselect Run this program as an administrator
Solution 5: add a prefix to the file path
Adding a simple prefix to the file path will solve this problem.
1. The right mouse button icon with the yellow and blue shield icon and then click on "Property".
2. Go to “shortcut“tab. Copy paste the next line at the beginning of the "Purpose:"Location (before" C: / Program file ... ").
cmd /c start ""
Finally, click on "Request"And"all right”To save the changes.
You may be shown an Access Denied error message on your computer. Just click on "Continue“To continue the process.
You can now launch this app without being prompted for User Account Control and the icon will not have the yellow and blue Shield.
NOTE-
If you see that the icon of that app has changed to a System symbol icon, then follow these steps to change the icon for that app.
1. The right mouse button icon with the yellow and blue shield icon and then click on "Property".
2. Go to “shortcut"Card" and then click "Change the icon”To change the icon on your computer.
3. Now select the icon that was previously configured for the application and then click on “all right”To save the changes.
4. Click on 'Request"And"all right”To save the changes on your computer.
Restart your computer.
This way you can easily remove Yellow and Blue Shield from desktop icons.
