After months of waiting for news about additional content on Elden Ring, FromSoftware e Bandai Namco have decided to make themselves heard just a few hours before The Game Awards, and they do so with the announcement of thefree update concerning PvP, the Coliseum, arriving tomorrow 7 December 2022.

According to what was shown by the trailer that revealed the content, this DLC will not add parts to the game's story, and precisely will focus solely on PvP, opening a new dedicated area (or more than one?), and different ways to fight against other players.

We don't know if there is only one Colosseum and if it will be accessible at all levels, but we will find out very soon. In fact, we know that there are at least 3 structures attributable to Colosseums in the vast map of Elden Ring (one in Sepolcride, one in Leyndell, and one in the Lands of Caelid), and it will be to find out if in each of them the challenge proposed to the players will be different.

To make us think so, is the wording “new modes” within the proposed video, in addition to images that show us different types of combat: 1 vs 1 duel, fights 1 against 1 but using the Ashes of Summoning, 3 vs 3 fights, each of them is also clearly set in a different arena.

To find out the specific details, in any case, we'll just have to wait for tomorrow, and we're really looking forward to it.
