1. Repair damaged system files (★Work method★)
In the first method, we will try to fix this error by repairing damaged system files using the extension chkdsk command. Follow the steps to perform this method.
Step 1. After booting into Safe Mode, you need to open Command Prompt as an administrator. To do this, go to Cortana and type Symbol of the system in the search area. Now, right-click on Symbol of the system from the search results and select Run as administrator. When prompted with a dialog box to confirm if you want to open Command Prompt in administrator mode, select Yup button.
Step 2. Now, type the following command in the command prompt window and hit Log in.
chkdsk / f
Step 3. il chkdsk The command will search for damaged files and replace them. Since this method requires disk locking, a message may appear prompting you to execute the command during the next system restart. If so, press E.
On the next system reboot, the chkdsk command will perform its operation. This should fix the problem. If the problem persists, try the next method.
2. Check for viruses and malware
In the next method, we will look for malware and viruses. And if there are, we'll quarantine them. To perform this method, you can opt for a third-party antivirus or Windows Defender. Make sure your antivirus software is up to date, then run a full computer scan for malware and viruses. The antivirus / defender will find and fix the virus / malware if it finds any.

3. Run System File Checker
We will check for more damaged files and try to repair them using System File Checker or SFC scan. The SFC scan is a built-in tool of Windows 10, which looks for damaged system files. Step 1. After booting into Safe Mode, you need to open Command Prompt as an administrator. To do this, go to Cortana and type Symbol of the system in the search area. When prompted with a dialog box to confirm if you want to open Command Prompt in administrator mode, select Yup button.
Step 2. The last step will open the file Symbol of the system window. Now, in the command prompt window, type the following command and press Log in.
sfc / scannow
After performing the last step, now all that remains is to wait for the command to finish its process. The process can take more than 15 minutes, so you'll need to be patient. When the SFC has finished scanning and repairing the damaged files, restart the computer.

4. Perform a disk cleanup
In this method, we will try to fix the error by restoring disk health using DISM scan. DISM Scan or Deployment Image & Service Management is another built-in Windows 1st troubleshooter that finds and fixes corrupted system files. Basically, DISM fixes corrupt files which were not detected by the SFC scan or corrupt files which did not allow the SFC scan to work properly. Follow the steps to perform this method.
Step 1. After booting into Safe Mode, you need to open Command Prompt as an administrator. To do this, go to Cortana and type Symbol of the system in the search area. Now, right-click on Symbol of the system from the search results and select Run as administrator. When prompted with a dialog box to confirm if you want to open Command Prompt in administrator mode, select Yup button.
Step 2. The last step will open the Command Prompt window. Now, type the following commands in the command prompt window and hit Log in after typing each command.
DISM.exe / Online / Cleanup-image / Scanhealth DISM.exe / Online / Cleanup-image / RestoreHealth
Step 3. Restart your computer.
4 Phase. After restarting your computer, run the SFC scan again (method 3).
This method should solve the problem. If the error persists, try the next method.
5. Reset the Windows cache
Windows cache reset is also known to fix the problem for many users. Follow the steps to perform this method.
Step 1. Open Run. To do this, right-click the file Start menu and select run.
Step 2. The last step will open the file run window. gender wsreset.exe in the Run window and click ok.
Step 3. The last step will reset the Windows cache. After that, restart your computer.

6. Check for Windows updates
Sometimes the barely fixable error is fixed with a small Windows update. Microsoft releases frequent Windows updates, which fix many problems.
