
Many people who use Windows 10 on their PC have started complaining that the headphones don't work on their computer. Many times this has happened due to Windows Update. If you are among them too, here you will find quick and easy solutions to this annoying problem. Before trying any of the solutions provided, restart your computer while connecting the headphones to the computer.
Solution 1: update the audio driver
1. close Device administrator in Windows 10 search.
2. Click the search result to open it Device administrator.
3. Now click Sound, video and game controllers to expand it.
4. Right click High definition audio device and click Update the driver software
5. Choose Browse my computer for driver software 6
6. Click The next.
7. Select High definition audio device from the list and click The next to complete To update.
Try opening the headphones again. Check if it works or not.
Solution 2: Disable Front Panel Connector Detection in Realtek Manager
1. Click Sound manager To open it.
2. Click folder icon located at the top right.
3. Deselect Disable front panel jack detection option.
4. Click ok.
Now check the headphones again.
Solution 3: set the default playback devices
1. Right-click the sound icon on the taskbar and click sounds.
2. Select Speakers of the list.
3. Click Set default.
Solution 4: update Sound Blaster Z
1. close Device administrator in Windows 10 search.
2. Click the search result to open it Device administrator.
3. Now click Sound, video and game controllers to expand it.
4. Right click Sound Blaster Z then click update the driver software
5. Select Search my computer for driver software
6. Choose Let me choose from a list of device drivers on my computer
7. Select High definition audio device
8. Click The next and update it.
