Whenever you try to connect a USB memory / pen drive, flash drive or memory chip, you may get an error message saying: “The volume does not contain a recognized file system. Make sure that all necessary file system drivers are loaded and that the volume is not damaged. ”This error can occur when the file system related to the external drive or memory card is unavailable, damaged or damaged. This error can also occur if the files are not damaged and perfectly fine.
However, there is nothing to worry about as there is a fairly simple method to solve this problem. Let's see how.
Solution: Run SFC / Scannow
Step 1: Click on Home button and type Symbol of the system in the search field. Right-click on the result and click Run as administrator Open Symbol of the system in administrator mode.
Step 2: A Symbol of the system in the window, type the following command and press Log in:
sfc / scannow
The process takes time, so wait for it to complete. Repair all corrupt files on the system. Then close the command prompt and restart your computer. Now, when you insert the external hard drive or flash drive, it should work fine, no errors.
