
Many times you may find that your PC or laptop mouse or keyboard is not working properly. For example, many times a certain key or key combination may suddenly stop working.
One of these problems is the "Shift + 2“Doesn't work on Windows 10 PC keyboard. This combination is known to create the @ symbol. Sometimes it can start typing wrong characters or just stop working. Fortunately, however, this can be fixed. Let's see how.
Method 1: via the language settings
Step 1: Click on Home on the desktop and type Language. Now, double click on the result to open the language settings.
Step 2: il Language settings the window opens with the language left option. Now on the right side of the panel, scroll down and under Preferred languages, you will see the languages already installed.
Here, we need to install the file English (US) language. So, for that, click + symbol next to Add a preferred language option.
Step 3: Now Write English in the search field and scroll down to search English (US). Double click on it to install the language.
4 phase: Then check the box next to Set as display language (this is optional, i.e. only if you want to set the language as the display language) and click Install on pc on background.
* Note: When downloading and installing the language, make sure your internet connection is active.
Step 5: Now select your language - English (US) and click the up arrow to set it as the default language.
Step 6: This will move English (US) at the top of the list. Now you can select the other language: English (India) and click To remove to remove this language.
This should fix the problem. If you have trouble installing English (United States), follow the second method.
Method 2: via services
Step 1: Click on Home at the desk and type Services in the search field. Now, double-click the results to open the file Services window.
Step 2: A Services window, on the right side, under the Your name column, find Windows update. Now, double click on it to open the file Property window.
Step 3: A Property window under the general tab, go to Start type section and set it to Manual. Click on To apply.
4 phase: Now under the Status of the service click on Home button. Click on ok.
You should now be able to install the language on settings application, correctly.
That's it, and now when you hit the button Shift + 2 keys together on the keyboard, will generate the file @ symbol.
