Step 2: In the next window, click Sound left side option. Now on the right side of the panel, scroll down to Related settings section. Click Microphone privacy settings under it.
Step 3: On the right side of the panel, scroll down to Allow apps to access your microphone section and move the cursor to activate it.
Now restart your PC and the error should go away. But, if the problem persists, try the third method.
Method 3: check if the microphone is on
Step 1: Go to speaker icon at the bottom right of yours Application bar. Right-click on it and click Sounds.
Step 2: A Sound dialog box, select the file Registration tab, select the file Microphone and right click on it. Click on Enable in the context menu.
Step 3: Now, click on the file Set default button below to change the current microphone as default. Click on To apply and so ok to save changes and exit.
