An important insider of GTA 6 provided some new speculation about the release date of the long-awaited game. Yesterday, for the uninitiated, Rockstar Games has finally confirmed that it is developing the next chapter of the Grand Theft Auto franchise.
Although this news in itself has stirred the fans of the series not a little, Rockstar has not provided other details concerning the project, in particular with regard to the launch window.
Although the release date of GTA 6 is something of which probably we will have no updates in the coming weeks, an insider may have given us an idea of how long we should wait before we can get our hands on the title.
Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier via social media shared his thoughts on the news. Schreier, who had anticipated numerous scoops in the past regarding Rockstar titles, he has theorized that the studio will announce a launch window for theAutumn 2023.
However, Schreier went on to say he believes this hypothetical window will not be satisfied, which will instead lead GTA 6 to be postponed to 2024. It is unclear, however, whether or not Schreier has information linked to entire sources in the development team that led him to this conclusion.

It is important to underline that Schreier's, although generally a reliable source, in the current state of affairs is a mere speculation. However, as already mentioned, the insider in question has already repeatedly shown that he knows the mechanisms behind the Rockstar productions, so it would not be shocking if his hypothesis ended up being true, given that in the world of the videogame industry it is now become a practice announce launch dates which will later be postponed.
