With the Gamescom this coming up August 23th, the announcements have already started. Presenter Geoff Keighley announced that the show's opening ceremony will also feature a new look at Hogwarts Legacy, the game set in the world of Harry Potter. We still don't know exactly what we will talk about, but we will probably be dealing with a new trailer, if not some actual game scene.
Surely this is comforting news for those who have been waiting for the work, and they have seen it postponed from 2022 to the beginning of 2023, a question that we have explored more in depth in this article.

However, Hogwarts Legacy isn't the only game that will be showcased at opening night. We already know that sonic frontiers, High on Life, Return to Monkey Island, also their highly anticipated games, will have their own space during the evening. But we are sure that Geoff Keighley will have more aces up his sleeves considering they will be presented more than 30 games.
But the opening night will not be the only conference published live online. The August 24 at 20:00 there will be Future Game Show, a collection of Indie or less represented games. The August 25th instead we will be accompanied for the whole afternoon by Xbox Booth, which will last from 14: 00 to 20: 00 with interviews and chats with the developers of upcoming games.
