Solution 1: Change the registry editors

- Since we need to make some changes to our registry editors, let's get our regedit run the program first. For this, just type regedit in Cortana's search box and hit Pay. From the search results, click regedit program as shown in the screenshot.

- From the expanded menu, choose the option called Software. And then you need to click Microsoft, Then in Windows NT and then in Current Version.

- Now from the list of options found below Current Version key, look for the one called MTCUVC. Click on it to proceed to the next step.
PHASE 5
- In the right window pane, you should find a DWORD value called EnableMtcUvc. If it's not there yet, create one. For that, right-click on the right window pane, then on New and then in DWORD (32-bit) Value.
PHASE 6
- Assign the right to the newly created DWORD value as EnableMtcUvc.
PHASE 7
- Click the newly created DWORD entry to edit it Value data. It will be 1 by default. Change it to 0 as shown in the screenshot. Click OK when you're done. That's all.
PHASE 8
- Now if you click the volume icon on the taskbar, you can see that your old friend is back. Just click Mixer As shown in the screenshot to adjust the volume settings of individual apps.
