Don't like the size and color of the mouse pointer that Windows 10 originally shipped with? You may want to customize the color and size of the mouse pointer as this is a widely used thing. The previous version of Windows allowed the ability to customize mouse pointers by selecting another pointer or installing one from the web. You've had the option to change the size or color of the mouse pointer or choose a completely different mouse pointer.
Light: The 10 least known mouse tricks
The method for changing the mouse pointer color is much the same in Windows 10. Windows 10 introduces a simpler process for changing the pointer size. The Settings application is available for quick access in Windows 10 just like the Control Panel in Windows 7. Microsoft encourages the user to switch to the Settings application and get rid of the Classic Control Panel. The downside to this feature is that there are only three sizes - small, large and extra large are available to choose from. You cannot choose another size as the options are limited.
Resize the cursor pointer
To resize the mouse pointer to your liking
Step 1 Click the Settings icon in the Start menu to open the settings application.
Step 2: Select the Accessibility option.
Step 3: Click the mouse.
Step 4: Under Pointer Size, choose the size of the mouse pointer you want to select and use.
You have now successfully resized the mouse pointer.
Change the color of the mouse
Step to change the color of the mouse pointer
We recommend that you use this method if you want to opt for a black mouse pointer instead of a white one. But if you want to do another customization, it's better to use the options available in the control panel instead of the Settings app. Since the settings app is meant to replace the control panel, the former is easier to access in Windows 10
Step 1: Click the Settings icon in the Start menu to open the settings application
Step 2 Select the Accessibility option.
Step 3: Click the mouse
Step 4: Select the mouse pointer color you want to use.
To change the mouse pointer scheme from the Control Panel
Although longtime Windows users are more comfortable with the Control Panel, Windows 10 encourages the use of the Settings app above the Control Panel.
Step 1 - Right-click the Start button and select Run
Or press Tasto Windows + R at the same time to open the Run dialog box.
Step 2 - Type control in the dialog box and then press Enter. This will open the classic control panel.
Step 3 - Search for the mouse in the control panel search box, then click Mouse Settings as shown below.
4 pass - Select the Pointers tab, then select a mouse pointer pattern from the drop-down box. Then click Apply.
You can also choose more pointer styles in the customization section.
You now have the desired pointer pattern.
Note: - You can also select the option enable printer shadow to enable the shadow on the pointer.
Method 4: to install third-party mouse pointers
This is one of the best ways to get really cool tips.
Step 1 - There are several options on the web to choose from and download interesting tips, but you need to be careful, as not all tips are safe. Download tips only from places you trust.
Step 2 - Transfer the downloaded mouse pointer file to the location of C: Windows Cursors
On drive c, as the Windows 10 operating system is installed there.
3 pass - Right-click the Start button and select Run
Or press Windows key + R at the same time to open the Run dialog.
4 pass - Type control in the dialog box, then press Enter. This will open the classic control panel.
5 pass - Customize the View by option in the control panel to Small icons, then click Mouse to open Mouse Properties
6 pass - Select the Pointers tab, click Browse, find the folder that contains the new downloaded mouse pointer.
7 pass - Click on the open mouse pointer and then click Apply
You have now successfully customized the mouse pointer.
