If you're familiar with Apple's Siri Personal Assistant or Android's OK Google, Cortana is the same for Windows 10. This voice assistant does more than just open a few basic apps. It can remind you of activities based on people, location or time, help you manage your calendar, create and manage lists, play or chat, etc.
Considering you can do so much with Cortana, you should naturally build your Cortana search history. All of your search data is stored on your PC and also in your Microsoft Bing account to help you customize your results. However, cleaning your search history frequently is a better idea. So how do you do it? That's how.
* Note: Note that as of the Windows 10 Update 1903 May 2019 Cortana search history can now only be removed from Account Microsoft Bing.
How to delete Cortana search history in Windows 10
Step 1: Click on windows on the desktop, click settings option in the menu above energia button.
Step 2: A settings window, click Search for.
Step 3: A Search for window, click Permissions and history option on the left side of the panel. Now on the right side of the panel, scroll down to Story section. In history, find My search history and then click Search history settings option located below. This will lead you to Account Microsoft Bing in Microsoft Edge.
Step 4: You will be directed to Search history page in Account Microsoft Bing.
Step 5: Go to the lower left side of the page and find Manage your search history section. Click on Go to the control panel button below it.
Step 6: Now it will Privacy section of Table. Click on My business language.
Step 7: Under the Explore your data left section, click Voice. This will show all of Cortana's search histories to date on the right hand side.
Step 8: Just click on the file Chiaro under each activity to delete the activities individually or click Clear activity in the top right corner to delete all Cortana search histories at once.
However, if you click on the Clear activity top right button to clear all search histories together, a warning message will be displayed with options - Chiaro Y Not clear. It warns you that if you delete your search history, voice services may not work properly. Therefore, be sure to delete all records.
That's it and you're done deleting Cortana's search history in Windows 10.
