Microsoft Word is undoubtedly one of the most popular apps used by people all over the world to create documents for various purposes. Therefore, the easier it is to access the documents, the better. While you can use Word your way using the different tools available, we still continue to find shortcuts to perform some actions that help us save time.
For example, you can open the print window using the shortcut Ctrl + P, save the document using Ctrl + S, and so on. Likewise, there is a link to delete pages in MS Word as well. It can be daunting to select the specific page content and then delete it. Instead, we can delete an entire page using the link. Let's see how to do it easily using the hotkey.
Fix: Using the hotkey
Step 1: Open the MS Word document from which you want to delete a page. Now, click on the file Show tab in the toolbar and click More pages option to view the document in multi-page view.
Step 2: Click on Enlarge option with the search tool icon and adjust the Percent field according to your viewing requirement. For example, here we have set it to 33% which helps us view all five pages in one view. This makes it easier for you to see the page you want to delete. You can set it according to your viewing requirements.
Step 3: Now, simply place the cursor anywhere on the page you want to delete. For example, we want to delete page 3 and so we placed the cursor on page 3.
Then, press the button Ctrl + G together on the keyboard to open the file Find and replace request.
Step 4: In Find and replace prompt, vai a Enter the page number field type page, and hit enter. This will select the contents of Page 3. Close the Find and replace request.
Step 5: Now, just hit the button Delete button on keyboard and page (here Page 3) is deleted.
That's all! And you are done deleting the MS Word page. Likewise, you can delete other pages.
