
Task View is a virtual desktop, very similar to the Publish to Mac feature. It is located next to the Windows search bar on the taskbar. By clicking on it, you can create multiple desktops, quickly switch between open files, and quickly access any desktop you create. From creating new desktops to running different programs on each of the new desktops, you can do so much more with Task View.
However, some users may not find this feature very useful and may find it quite inconvenient to switch between desks during important work. In such cases, you can disable the Task View button or just remove it from the taskbar to make things easier. So, today we are going to explain how to disable and remove Task View in Windows 10.
Method 1: via the taskbar
Step 1: Right-click on the file Application bar and deselect the file Show activity view button option in the context menu.
This will remove the check mark from the option and disable the file Activity view function in your system.
This should help disable and remove the Task View button from the taskbar; however, if not, follow the next method.
Method 2: Disabling Activity View Using Registry Editor
Before proceeding with changes to the registry editor, be sure to create a backup of the registry data. This will help you to restore the data lost during the process.
Step 1: press the Win + R keys together on the keyboard to open the file Run command.
Step 2: Then write regedit a Run command search field to open the file Registry Editor window.
Step 3: As the Registry Editor The window opens, type the following path in the address bar:
HKEY_CURRENT_USERSOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionExplorerAdvanced
Go to the right side of the panel and locate Show TaskViewButton DWORD value and double-click it to open the file Edit DWORD (32-bit) value the dialog box.
4 phase: A Edit DWORD (32-bit) value dialog box, edit the file Valuable data da 1 to 0.

Exit from Registry Editor and restart your PC for the changes to take effect. the Activity view The button is disabled and will not be visible on yours Application bar.
* Note - You can also undo the changes to enable the Activity view again, changing the file Valuable data back 0.

Method 3: Remove Task View from Taskbar Using Registry Editor
Before editing the registry editor, be sure to create a backup of the registry data. This will help you recover any data that may be lost in the process.
Step 1: press the Win + R keys together on the keyboard to open the file Run command.
Step 2: Then write regedit a Run command search field to open the file Registry Editor window.
Step 3: A Registry Editor window, go to the following path:
HKEY_CURRENT_USERSOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionExplorer
Now, right click on Explorer (left), select New from the context menu and then select Key in the submenu.
4 phase: Rename the new one Key like MultiTaskingView.
Step 5: Now, right-click on MultiTaskingView, To select New from the menu and then select Key.
Step 6: Rename the new one Key like AllUpView.
Step 7: Now go to the right side of the panel and right click on an empty space. Please select New from the context menu and then select Valore DWORD (32 bit).
Step 8: Rename the file Valore DWORD with any name of your choice.
For example, we rename it as Delete TaskView. You can call it whatever you like.
Step 9: Right-click on the file Valore DWORD and select Modify.
Step 10: This will open the file Edit DWORD (32-bit) value the dialog box. Go to Valuable data field and set it to 0.
This will disable and remove the file Activity view the system button Application bar. However, you can re-enable the feature by editing the file Valuable data to 1.
