Whenever you search the Windows 10 taskbar, it will search from both your local computer and the web. Search results work with bing by default. You can also switch your taskbar search to Google via mozilla, but what if you don't want web results on your Windows PC? What if you just want to search for local files only? This is important for most users as it is clear that if they are looking in the taskbar, they are only looking for things inside their PC. Follow the steps below to remove web search results from the Windows 10 taskbar.
How to disable web search results from the Windows 10 taskbar
Just click on the search box. Then click on the round shape regolazione icon only the third from the top.
Now make sure Cortana is off and disable the setting that says search online and include web results.
Now whenever you try to search for an item via the Windows 10 taskbar, it will only include search results from your local computer. It won't force pasting search results from around the web that you don't want at all.
Note: - To enable web search again, follow the same path as described above and turn it back on.
