
Previous versions of Windows 10 allowed users to customize almost all operating system features freely, but with the release of Windows 10 Microsoft hid the sound actions. Hence, this means that you can no longer easily change the logout, logon, or shutdown sounds like in previous versions.
However, you can still tweak the other features to suit your needs including changing the sounds for other system events like caps lock sound or scroll sound etc. But the good thing is that even though Windows 10 has hidden the log out, log in and shut down options, they are still available. This means that you can still enable the audio options. Let's see how.
Method 1: use registry editor
Step 1: Near it Tasto Windows + R together on the keyboard to open the run box. Now Write regedit in the search field and press Log in to open the file Registry Editor.
Step 2: A Registry Editor window, go to the following path:
HKEY_CURRENT_USERAppEventsEventLabels
Now under the EventLabels , scroll down and click WindowsLogoff. On the right side you will see the file Valore DWORD (32 bit) - ExcludeFromCPL. Double click to edit this field.
Step 3: A Edit DWORD (32-bit) value dialog box, edit the file Valuable data field of 1 to 0. Click ok to save changes and exit.
4 phase: Now click WindowsLogon and on the right side you will see the same Valore DWORd (32 bit), Exclude from CPL (as you saw in the case of WindowsLogoff).
Now follow the file Step 2 e 3 pass as above to edit the file Valuable data field of 1 to 0. Press ok to save changes and exit.
Windows logout and logon sounds are now enabled in the control panel. From here, you need to go to the Control Panel to enable the sounds.
Method 2: enable sounds via control panel
Step 1: Click on Home at the desk and type Control Panel in the search box. Now, double click on the result.
Step 2: A Control Panel window, click Seen from field to Small icons. Now click Sound.
Step 3: A Sound dialog box, go to Sounds tab and below Scheduled events section, scroll down to find the file Exit Windows e Windows logon options.
Now, check the box next to Play the Windows startup sound. From then on, configure the file Combination of sounds section Default windows.
4 phase: Now low Scheduled events, To select Windows log off. the Sounds The bottom field will be activated. Here select Windows logout sound.
Step 5: Now select Windows logon, and the Sounds the field is automatically set to Windows logon.
print To apply and so ok to save changes and exit.
Now you can restart your computer. When it starts up, you will hear the login sound and when you deactivate it you will hear the logout sound.
