Are you trying to install applications on your Windows operating system, but every time you get an error code: X80080008? Well this is a very common mistake when you try to install applications after upgrading your OS to Windows 10 or maybe you just bought a new computer with Windows 10 installed.
Worse still, sometimes you may not even see the error code, and the application you are trying to install may just crash. Then you should close the process to delete it. The reason behind this is usually a registry error on your Windows 10 system.
It can be annoying when you want to install apps so you can start working on your system right away. But the good news is that this can be fixed quite easily using the following three methods. Let's see how.
Method 1: clear the Windows Store cache
Step 1: Go to Home on the desktop and right-click on it. Now select run from the context menu to open the file run I send.
Step 2: A run box type WSReset.exe and press ok.
This will start the reboot process of Windows shop. Once completed, the Windows shop it will start automatically.
Now restart your PC and try to download and install the applications on your system to check if it works properly. If the problem persists, try the second method.
Method 2: creating and running the App.Bat file
Step 1: Go to Home at the desk and type path in the search box. Left click on the result to open the file pad.
Step 2: A pad, type or copy and paste the following commands:
REGSVR32 WUPS2.DLL / S REGSVR32 WUPS.DLL / S REGSVR32 WUAUENG.DLL / S REGSVR32 WUAPI.DLL / S REGSVR32 WUCLTUX.DLL / S REGSVR32 WUWEBV.DLL / SLR / RLS / SLS.
Step 3: Now go to archive tab at the top left of the file pad document and click Save eat.
Step 4: Now select the file Desk left position (be sure to save the file in Desk position only). Go to file name field and names the file as app.bat, and set the Save as type similar field All files.
press the Save button.
Step 5: Now go to the desktop and right click on app.bat file and select Run as administrator in the context menu.
Once the process is complete, restart your Windows 10 PC and check if you can now download and install apps. If you still can't, try the third method.
Method 3: via Windows services
Step 1: Go to Home at the desk and type Services in the search field. Left click on the result to open the file Services window.
Step 2: A Services window, go to Your name column. Search and select Windows update, right click on it and click Property in the context menu.
Step 3: A Windows Update Properties, under the general tab, go to To boot generally field and set it to Manual.
print To apply and so ok to save changes and exit.
Now go back to Windows shop and try to download and install the application. It should be fluent and no errors should appear again.
