If you are trying to download or update MS Office 2013 or 2016, or with Office 365, you may encounter errors while activating the Office suite, for example you may see an error code 0x4004f00c. Fortunately, there are some fixes for this that can help you complete the activation process smoothly and keep using Office. Let's see how.
Method 1: Download Office Suite from Microsoft Official Website
Step 1: Open your browser, type the link below in the address bar and press Enters:

Step 2: Scroll down and find the file download link for the Office version you are using.
For example, we are using MS Office 2016 version, then we clicked on the file download button for the same.
That is. This should correct your mistake, but if that doesn't work, try the second method.

Now click What PC link on the left and select the Unit C on the right.
Step 3: Then follow the below path, step by step, as shown:

- Leave Microsoft Office
- Leave Office 16
Now copy the path from the address bar.
Step 4: Come back to Symbol of the system window (administrator mode), type CD, press the spacebar and paste the copied path as shown below. Hit Log in:
cd C:Program Files (x86)Microsoft OfficeOffice16
Step 5: Now type the following command and hit Log in still:

Step 6: Copy the last 4 digits of the installed product key as shown.
Step 7: Type the following command and press Log in still:
cscript ospp.vbs /unpkey:"LAST_FIVE_PRODUCT_KEY_CHARACTERS"
* Note - Replace the highlighted part with the last four digits of the installed Product Key you copied and remove the quotation marks.
That is. You should no longer see the error code. But, if the problem persists, try the third method.
Method 3: via the settings app
Step 1: Click on Home on the desktop and select settings in the context menu, located above the file energia option.
Step 2: A settings window, click Network and internet.
