Having trouble opening the Windows Store? Many users see this error code: 0x80070520 every time they try to access Microsoft Store or try to open applications like Word Games, Xbox, etc. This is an error apparently observed after running the cumulative update, installing Windows 10 patches, or installing anything recently.
Damage to the Windows update components can cause this error, which in turn prevents the update process or the opening of applications and the Windows Store. The good news is that this error can be fixed and you can easily access the Windows Store again. Let's see how.
Method 1: via the settings app
Step 1: Click on Home on the desktop and click settings in the context menu, located above the file energia option.
Step 2: A settings window, click Update and security.
Step 3: Then on the left side of the window, click Solve problems. Now on the right side of the panel, scroll down and under the file Find and solve other problems section, click Windows Store App.
Then click on the file Run the troubleshooter button.
Now let the troubleshooter find and fix the problems. Now you can, try opening the Windows Store and it should work perfectly. But if the problem persists, try the second method.
Method 2: use WSRESET
Step 1: Click on Home at the desk and type wsreset in the search field. Click on the result to execute the command.
This will automatically execute the command and close by itself and start the Windows Store automatically as well. Now it will work perfectly to find and applications too.
