How to fix Microsoft Store missing problem in Windows 10

Microsoft Store is one of the best things about Windows, allowing you to download the latest apps, games, books, music, and more without any malicious software. However, Microsoft has not yet managed to stabilize the Store and continues to throw bugs from time to time.

One such problem is where the Microsoft Store is missing on your Windows 10 PC. Now it can be really frustrating as you don't have direct access to the apps and so you have to search for a third party website to download your apps. Worse still, some of the third party websites are insecure and could pose a threat to your PC's security.

This problem usually occurs after Windows update, causing corruption of some Store related files. Fortunately, however, this problem can be fixed and you can get your Microsoft Store back. Let's see how.

Method 1: via Windows Powershell

Step 1: Click on Home at the desk and type Shell Power in the search field. Now, right click on the result and click Run as administrator run Shell Power in administrator mode.

Step 2: A Shell Power in the window, type the following command and press Log in run:

Get-AppxPackage -allusers Microsoft.WindowsStore | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$ ($_.InstallLocation)AppXManifest.xml”}

Now, you should get your lost Windows Store back. If the problem persists, try the second method.

Method 2: use WSRESET

Step 1: To restore the Windows shopclick your Home at the desk and type fight in the search field. Double-click the command and let it run for a few minutes to restore the file Shop.

This should reset your Windows Store, but if it doesn't already, try the third method.

Method 3: Using Command Prompt

Step 1: Click on Home button up your desk and type cmd in the search box. Now, right click on the result and click Run as administrator Open Command Prompt in mode of administration.

Step 2: A Symbol of the system window, execute the following commands one by one and press Log in:

After the first command completes, run the second command and allow the restore to complete. This should get your Microsoft Store back and you can start downloading apps freely.
