The printer is a hardware device connected to a PC to print letters and images. Printer installation requires configuration of system files on the PC. Some printers are predefined in Windows. As when connected to the computer, the computer identifies the printer and installs it automatically, while some printers require an installation (resource CD, flash drive) for installation.

In this article, we will follow some steps on how to install a printer in Windows 10:
Right click on the “Start” icon located in the lower left corner of the screen.
Click on "Control Panel".
When selecting the "Category" view, click "View devices and printers".
Click on "Add a printer".
Note: In some cases, printers are automatically configured and installed when connected to the PC.
If that happens, you can skip the whole process.
If there are multiple printers that can be added to the PC, select any printer and click "Next".
If you can't find the printer you want to install, click "The printer I want isn't listed".
You can choose any of the options provided to install the printer. For example, we have selected “Add a printer using a TCP / IP address or host name”.
Click "Next" to continue.
You can select the “Device Type” of the printer by selecting it from the drop-down list.
Now enter the IP address of your printer. For example, let's enter 188.8.131.52
Click "Next" to complete the process.
As soon as you click “Next”, the system with the specified IP address will contact the printer. If connected, the printer appears on the PC and is located in the "Devices and Printers" section of the Control Panel.
