
Today, PC makers don't incorporate the “Reset” button, but instead rely on holding the power button for 8 seconds. Holding down the power button is not an efficient way to restart your PC. But thanks to Microsoft, there is another secret reboot method to reboot, which you may not be aware of, called, Emergency restart.
This feature is not the recommended way to shut down your PC, but it can be useful in extreme conditions whenever your PC is not responding properly or you need to disconnect it without saving any current information. This function is almost identical to pressing the reset button. But it's better than hitting the reset button, as this process is less harmful than shutting down your computer via a full reset (reboot).

The operating system terminates all background and foreground activities without saving data and shuts down the system. This feature is useful if you don't have the reset button or you don't want to hold down the power button.
CAUTION: If you do the following, the operating system can crash quickly without being prompted to save currently open documents. Any information you have not saved will be lost.
For demonstration purposes we use Windows 10 Home Edition build 10586
Follow this tutorial
Step 1:
print “Ctrl + Alt + Canc” and the login information screen will be displayed.

Step 2:
When the login information screen is displayed, press and hold "controlAnd click the shutdown button in the lower right corner and you will be presented with the emergency restart screen. Now hit OK. If you continue, the machine will reboot and all unsaved data will be lost. Use it only as a last resort.
