How to schedule a message on WhatsApp
Whatsapp is the messaging program most used ever, by all users, whether they are in an Android or Apple environment.

It will therefore be our task to give you information on programming messages whether you have a smartphone of the robot or an iPhone. Can't wait to find out how to schedule a message on Whatsapp? Then unlock your phone and let's get started!

How to schedule a Whatsapp message on Android

If you are an Android user, the first thing to know is that it is not possible to program messages directly from the app: Whatsapp, in fact, it does not have this native function.

For this reason, you will need to download an additional app to be able to schedule your messages. This program is called SKEDit Scheduling App and it is not a very light app and it doesn't weigh down your phone very much.

Let's see in detail how to set up SKED: once the app is installed, start it and choose whether to create a new account or proceed with logging in with your Facebook account.

Once logged in, tap on “Whatsapp” on the screen and then, in the Accessibility menu, corresponding to the SKEDit item, switch the lever to Activate and select OK.

At this point, all you have to do is program the messages: go to Message and the screen where you can enter the message will appear.

In To you will enter the recipients, while by tapping on Repeat you can set the programming date and time. Once everything is set up, just select the arrow icon at the top right to confirm the programming.

How to schedule a Whatsapp message on iOS

If for Android the procedure is really simple and does not require any particular operation, other than to install an app, things get very complicated on iOS.

For Apple devices, in fact, we advise you to carry out the procedure that we will indicate to you only if you have an old device, no longer covered by the warranty.

In fact, in order to program Whatsapp messages on the iPhone, it is necessary to run the jailbreak. In case you don't know what it is, please read the next lines carefully.

The Jailbreak is a procedure that allows, in a completely legal way, to free your smartphone from the stakes set by the company of the bitten apple.

In other words, with the Jailbreak you can install apps even not present in the Apple Store and make your iPhone much more customizable.

While it may seem like an improvement for your device, it actually has many cons: first of all it will make you lose your warranty and you will no longer be able to perform system and app updates.

Furthermore, once the Jailbreak has been carried out, you will no longer be able to rely on the Apple security system, as well as being able to incur instability of the apps due to their incompatibility with your iPhone.

In case you, despite all these contraindications, really want to carry out this procedure at your own risk, once performed, all you have to do is install SKEDit and follow the same procedure indicated in the previous paragraph.

How to schedule a message on Whatsapp Business

How to schedule a message on WhatsApp
If so far we have talked about programming messages for futile things such as wishes or, perhaps, as a reminder for some family member, things get more serious with Whatsapp Business.

In case you haven't discovered it yet, Whatsapp Business is a special version of the messaging app, available for both Android and iOS, designed and built exclusively for the organization of work.

If you already use Whatsapp Business and have not yet discovered this feature, we will explain how to activate it in a few simple steps.

Whether you are on Android or on an iPhone, follow these steps:

  • Open the app and go to the settings menu (top right for Android, bottom right for iOS);
  • Select the item "Activity setting";
  • Choose “Absence Message” which will allow you to schedule the message;
  • Move the lever corresponding to the item “Send welcome / absence message” to ON;
  • Tap on the pencil icon to write the message;
  • Select the time of sending and the recipients.
  • Tap on "Save" and that's it!

The Business version of Whatsapp for iPhone, as you will have understood, does not require any Jailbreak operation, because the app already has this native function.

If you use Whatsapp to communicate with friends and relatives, it is not necessary to install Whatsapp Business to schedule messages: we are talking about two totally different apps because they are designed for different purposes, so if you don't need it for work, we do not recommend installing the Business version.
