The following steps will guide you on how to set up a proxy server in Windows 10:

Step 1:
Open the "Settings" application. You can open this application simply by pressing the “Windows + I” key.
Alternatively, you can type “Settings” in the search bar next to the Start menu. Click on the first option provided.
Step 2:
Click on "Network and Internet" settings.
Note: This setting provides options to configure multiple settings such as Wi-Fi, Airplane Mode, Remote Connection, VPN, Ethernet, Data Usage, and Proxy Settings.
Step 3:
Click on “Proxy” in the submenus on the left. There are basically two types of proxy settings available on your computer, namely automatic proxy settings and manual proxy settings.
In automatic proxy configuration, your computer will automatically use a proxy server for Ethernet or Wi-Fi connections. However, if you want to connect to a specific server, you can provide a "Script Address" by enabling "Use Configuration Script". Click "Save" to confirm the settings.
Step 4:
If you want to configure manual proxy settings, please disable use the installation script and disable the "Script address" in the auto proxy configuration first.
Now scroll down to the manual proxy section.
Now, in the manual proxy configuration, slide the bar to enable “Use a proxy server”. Enter the IP address and port number in the boxes provided. Click "Save" to confirm the settings.
Note: If you want to use the proxy server for specific websites, mention your IP address in the last section. Click "Save" again to confirm the settings.
