
It is natural for us to shut down our PC completely before going to sleep. When you want to turn it on in the morning, you need to press the power button. But what if you want your computer to turn on automatically, for example to complete a full virus scan or a Windows update?
Well, Windows lets you do that with a feature that you can set your Windows 10 PC to automatically wake up from sleep mode. It's like setting an alarm to wake your computer at a scheduled time using the Scheduler. Let's see how.
How to schedule automatic activation of Windows 10 PC using Task Scheduler
Step 1: press the windows key and type Event Agenda in the search box. Click on the result to open the file Event Agenda window.
Step 2: A Event Agenda go to the far right of the panel and click Create activity located below Behavior.
Step 3: A Create activity window under the general tab, give the activity a name similar to I wake or anything that is easily recognizable. Now select the up radio button Run if the user is registered or not > check the box next to Do not memorize the password > check the box next to Run with the highest privileges > and select the file Setting up option like Windows 10.
4 phase: Go to trigger click on the tab New to create a new trigger. Click the radio button for Daily under settings and set the Appeal in all fields to the number of days you prefer.
Under the Advanced Settings option, check the box Stop the activity if it lasts longer than and enter it 30 minutes. Check the box for Qualified and hit ok.
Step 5: Go to Behavior tab, set the file Action field to Start a program, generate cmd.exe a Programma / script field below settingsand enter / c "exit" a Add arguments (optional) field. Hit ok to open the file Symbol of the system which in turn will ask you to execute the command departure immediately. This will immediately shut down the command leaving the computer running.
Step 6: Go to Terms tab and select the option Activate your computer to perform this task and disable all other options.
Step 7: Go to settings tab> check the box for Allow the task to run on demand (this will ensure that the task will not restart if the task fails or if the schedule is lost)> check the box on Stop the activity if it lasts longer than > set it to 30 minutes. Now leave the rest as is and press ok per salvare I modified it.
Step 8: Then, configure the power plan to complete the installation and automatically wake the computer. Click on windows icon> type Control Panel to open the file Control Panel window> set it to view from Big icons > click Power options > below Selected floor option on the right, click Change your plan settings > now click Change the advanced power settings > in Advanced Settings dialog box, scroll down to Accommodation > expand it and now expand the option Allow alarms > enable both files Into the battery e Connected options below. Click To apply e ok per salvare I modified it.
Step 9: We will now make sure that the wake timers are enabled, because this method won't work until the wake timers are enabled on your PC.
To enable alarms: -
print Tasto Windows + S to open the Windows search box.
10 pass - Now search change the power plan and click on the obtained search result.
11 pass - Click on change advanced power settings
Step 12 - Expand sleep.
13 pass - Expand Allow alarms
Step 14 - Now select to enable for everything on the list.
The computer is now ready to wake up automatically according to the schedule you set.
