The clock displayed on the Windows 10 taskbar is the most viewed clock for an avid PC user. So, if you spend too much time in front of your laptop / PC, you will hardly see a clock other than the clock ticking on the taskbar. But what if you want to be accurate in seconds? Or you may not want to sit down for even an extra second after the office closes.
Whatever the reason, if you want to show the seconds as well along with the clock hour and minutes displayed on the taskbar, here's how to do it.
Show seconds on taskbar clock in Windows 10
Step 1: Press key Windows + r and open the Run command box.
Step 2: Now type regedit on it and hit enter
Step 3: Now, once the registry editor is open, just navigate to the location given below from the left side of the registry editor menu.
- HKEY_CURRENT_USER
- Software
- Microsoft
- windows
- Current version
- Explorer
- Advanced
Step 4 - Now, right click on the right side and choose New -> DWORD (32-bit value)
Step 5: Now, give it a name
ShowSecondsInSystemClock
Step 6: Now, double click on it and change the value data to 1.
Step 7: Now start again the computer and the clock on the taskbar will now be displayed MAIN CORSE further.
That is. If you don't want your watch to show seconds, look for the position in the registry editor again and change the value data to 0. Hope you liked it.
