How to use a custom background in Gmail.
If you spend a lot of time on a Gmail window open in your browser you will probably have the rather boring default theme.
You must know that the Gmail window on your browser, whatever it is, can be changed with an image of your choice (gmail theme)
You can use a photo from the web or your computer as a background image, just like on your computer desktop.
Gmail how to change Theme: custom background in Gmail
Go to your Gmail account in Chrome or any other desktop browser. Click on the gear icon in the upper right corner to open the drop-down menu, then click on the “Themes” option.
An in-tab window displays a variety of backgrounds and color schemes that you can use with Gmail on the web. If you like some of the ones shown to you, great! Click on any of them to apply them automatically. If you want more options, click the "My Photos" button at the bottom right of the window.
Here you can upload more photos from your various Google accounts such as Google Photos, Google drive from a URL or simply upload a photo you have on your computer by clicking on Upload a photo.
Now select the photo or upload it to Gmail and set it as your theme background.
Simple no, maybe now looking at the Gmail window with its new theme will be more enjoyable ;-).
