Copying, moving, or exporting files from one location to another is a trivial task for many of us. However, if the files are stored in the background in a folder on the drive, it can be difficult to get to the location and then copy the files one by one at a time. This can be time consuming and frustrating.
However, there are ways we can copy the list of all files to a specific folder on your Windows 10 PC at the same time. Yes, even if the files are saved in a folder inside the drive, then it saves a lot of time. Let's see how to do it using such an effective method.
Step 1: press the Windows + E keys together on the keyboard to open the file Browser on file. Go to the location where you saved the files. Here we have saved the files in the file Unit D, so we clicked What PC link on the left and selected the file Unit D.
Step 2: Select the folder where you saved the files and keep opening specific folders step by step to get to the desired location. For example, here we clicked Important and navigated the path below as indicated:
* Note: The path shown above is for illustrative purposes only. The files you want to copy / move / export can be placed on any drive with a different path.
Step 3: Now press the button Ctrl + A keys together on the keyboard to select all files. Then click Home tab at the top and select Copy path.
4 phase: Open a notebook, right-click on the blank space and click Paste to paste all copied file names.
That's all. You have finished copying the filenames to your Windows 10 PC from the desired folder.
