
The Edge web browser offers great features that can be used extensively. One of its well-known attributes, “Find on Page”, is used to extract the same or similar text on web pages. Using this feature, we can effectively locate data if the web page size is large and contains too much information.

In this article, we will follow some steps on how to use the search function in the edge web browser in windows 10:
Step 1:
Click the "Edge" icon to open the "Edge" web browser from the Windows taskbar.
Step 2:
Click on the “…” icon (More actions).
Step 3:
Click the “Find on Page” section.
Note: This section helps you find letters, symbols and words on web pages.

Step 4:
Enter a word to find your exact location on a particular web page. For example, we enter "Friday" and find the position of the given word.
Note: The word that matches first appears in blue and the rest in yellow. When we select the next position of the same word, the color of the word becomes blue, and for the others it becomes yellow.
Step 5:
If the letters entered are part of a long word, you can skip this option by selecting "Find whole word" in the "Options" section. In simple words, you can match the exact word and not the letters that are part of another word.
Step 6:
Another option which is "Match case" is used to find words that are exactly the same (case sensitive). It is also found in the "Options" section.
