
Do you know that you can use your notepad as a journal for taking notes and the time for taking notes will automatically be attached to it? You can use it for any purpose, such as tracking monthly expenses or tracking any series of events and attaching a note. Let's see the simple trick.
use your notepad as a diary with timestamps
- Open your Notepad and type .LOG at the top. Note that .LOG is in uppercase letters.
- Save it anywhere with the name of your choice.
That is. Now when you want to write a note. Just open it, write a note and close it. Open it again, hit enter and write another note on another line and so on.
Each entry will come with timestamps for note taking.
What if you don't want to see the .LOG text at the top of your Notepad?
Well, in that case, you have to enter the date and time manually every time you enter text by pressing F5. Just type anything and press F5, the current time will be added.
