If some apps use your location, turn off location tracking in Windows 10

Last night, while I was looking for something in the taskbar search box in Windows 10, I noticed a circular icon on the taskbar. When I hovered the mouse cursor, a message appeared saying that some applications were using your location. Even though I disabled all Windows 10 spying features individually, it turned out that Cortana turned on automatically and used my location. Also, it is not possible to disable cortana's location settings in choose apps that use your location settings.
