
Very often, you may encounter this error "There is not enough memory to complete this operation. Quit one or more applications to increase available memory and try again"OR"There is not enough disk space available to complete this operation. “This is a common mistake and it can be mainly for two reasons.
It is because your machine's extended partition is limited and does not allow you to create a new partition even if there is free space, or because the memory is not being used properly. Are you installing software and applications and saving data files on the system drive? This is an example of the fact that you are not using memory properly and rather filling up the drive. This is when you notice the error.
So how do you fix this error? Let's find out.
Solution: via system properties
Step 1: press the Window key + E together on the keyboard to open the file Browser on file. TO Browser on file window, right click What PC link on the left side of the screen. and select Property.
Step 2: A System properties window, click Change settings low option Computer name, domain and workgroup settings section.
Step 3: In the next window, click Advanced tab and below Performance click on settings button.
4 phase: So in Performance options window, click Advanced again in the tab and below Virtual memory sectionclick your Modify.
Step 5: A Virtual memory window, uncheck the box next to Automatically manage paging file size for all devices. Now, click on the radio button next to the file Custom size section and Initial size (MB) e Maximum size (MB) the fields are activated.
Step 6: Then check the file Total paging file size for all devices next section and check Advised Cut it. Here it is showing 1394 MB. Now, set up the file Initial size (MB) field below Custom size to 1394 according to the recommended size below. Also, configure Maximum size (MB) field with the same value, 1394. Click on Set to and press ok to save and exit.
That's it, now restart your computer for the changes to take effect and you should no longer experience the Out of Memory error.
