Marvel Snap: The creator questions the arrival of a single player mode

Author and references

Although many fans would like the introduction of single player in marvel snap, the development team Second Dinner questioned the arrival of such modality.

During an interview given to colleagues at IGN Ben Brode, the creator of Marvel Snap, said that the development team is still thinking about whether it will be able to create a single mode, whereas Marvel Snap focuses primarily on multiplayer. Here are his words about it:

I do not know. I'd say we haven't thought enough about what this mode could look like, and as a result, we don't know for sure if we'd be able to make something that would entertain the fans.

In any case Second Dinner is planning to create new modes, as revealed by Ben Brode himself. Among these new modes, however, it is highlighted again as there are no plans for single player:

I think there is a lot of room for new modes. We have many interesting ideas for new game modes related to multiplayer, but currently there are none planned for single player.

The developers, therefore, seem to have decided not to create a single player mode in order to focus on improving multiplayer. Also, Second Dinner may feel that the single player not be successful given the competitive nature of Marvel Snap, as evidenced by Brode:

Much of the fun of the game is mind games and trying to imagine what your opponent might do next.

Finally we remind you that Marvel Snap is currently available for PC, IOS and Android devices.
