Over the past few years, Nintendo Switch has managed to establish itself with great strength on the market, thanks to a concept of hybrid console that has been able to amaze the public and a list of titles of great value. The console of the big N is still in the middle of its life cycle and, apparently, some recent rumors seem to indicate that 2022 will be a great year for all fans Nintendo, with names such as Metroid Prime Remake e Xenoblade Chronicles 3 that stand out among all.
More specifically, the well-known insider Nate the Hate - which has already recently made headlines for some information on the brand Person -, famous for unveiling several weight announcements ahead of time over the years, has released a long podcast on his YouTube channel in which he unveiled several news on what should be the Nintendo Switch line-up for 2022.
First of all, there was talk of a return with great fanfare of the first Metroid Prime, which should return in the form of a remake. The game should see the light in mid-2022 and would represent a way to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the release of the original chapter on GameCube.
Secondly, the insider talked about Xenoblade Chronicles 3 which, apparently, would be in full development. In particular, the game could arrive in 2023 due to the difficulties encountered due to Covid and some unspecified technical problems encountered by the team. Having said that, if the company manages to overcome these difficulties, it is not certain that the game will not be able to come out in 2022 anyway.
Nate the Hate later claimed that a new Donkey Kong is in development, although at the moment the information about it is practically nil, to the point that the insider would not even know if the game will be in 2D or 3D. The podcast also talked about a new Fire Emblem from the developers of Three Houses, which will feature an improved technical component and an expanded play structure.
In short, with high-sounding names such as Metroid Prime Remake, Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and Donkey Kong, there is no doubt that what has just begun could be a memorable year, but we remind you that for now we speak only of rumor and, consequently, it will be better to take everything with a grain of salt.
