The official announcement of the release of Need for Speed Unbound, the next title in the underground racing saga, or at least so says the journalist Tom Henderson in a leak. Henderson had been following the development of the game for a while, in a completely unofficial way, and he learned two news not just. The first concerns thegame announcement, which should arrive within one couple of weeks, the second concerns the release date, December 2 2022.

The reporter had already released other leaks throughout the year, in which he had demonstrated a fairly thorough knowledge of the product. The game will have some much more cinematic visuals than in the other titles, and it seems that the maps will be completely new for the most part. Multiplayer functionality will allow players to compete against each other at several points of what is expected to be one open map, a bit like the Forza Horizon saga. However, it appears that the game will be available only for the latest generation consoles and for the PC, cutting out players who are still lagging behind or failing to grab the new machines.
Having said that, remember that it is still a leak, even if it comes from a source that is difficult to fully doubt, and therefore theonly thing we can do to see it confirmed or denied is to wait.
