Atlus confirmed that Person 5 Royal, 4 Golden Person e Persona 3 Portable will arrive on PS5, with P3P and P5R also arriving on PC via Steam, in addition to their Xbox Game Pass launches.
In a press release, the studio announced that in addition to the release on Xbox e Windows via Game Pass, the three games “will soon also be available on Steam and PlayStation 5”. Until now, Persona 5 Royal was only available on PS5 via backward compatibility, while Persona 3 and 4 were only available on PSP and PS Vita and had yet to upgrade to the latest Sony consoles.
Announced today during Xbox e Bethesda Games Showcase, the three Persona titles launched on Xbox mark a historic move for the franchise JRPG. While Persona 5 Royal will launch by the end of the year 2022, both Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden will arrive next year in 2023.

This is certainly a pleasant surprise for Xbox owners and Persona fans in general. It's great that more players around the world, on a completely new console, can experience Persona for the first time, especially after Persona 5 has outlasted the rest of the series by some margin in recent years.
The interesting thing is that it is Persona 3 Portable, And not Fes, coming to new consoles. For those unfamiliar with it, the Portable version of Persona 3 had an alternate female lead, while the launch of Persona 3 in Fes included a brand new epilogue section, picked up sometime after the events of the main game.
However, it's a brilliant move on Atlus's part. These three Persona games are traditionally seen as the "modern" Persona games, after the director Katsura Hashino assumed command of the franchise at Atlus.
Bad news, on the other hand, for those who hoped to see Persona and Persona 2 again, in fact we will have to continue to wait for a probable revisitation of the origins in the future.
