About two days ago, Atlus has announced the arrival of Persona 5 Royal, Persona 4 Golden and Persona 3 Portable on Xbox consoles and next-generation consoles, but there has been no mention of the Nintendo Switch which, at least at the moment, seems left out.
In reality, however, things would be different. Specifically, Persona 4 Golden and Persona 3 Portable, according to a well-known insider of the Atlus world called Zippo, would soon also be arriving on hybrid consoles.. This, in fact, would bring much of the saga conceived by Katsura Hashino, on Switch.
And that's not all, because in the last few hours a rumor has come up that he would like also Persona 5 Royal coming to Nintendo Switch. The clue came from a German seller who, in his catalog, has included the Persona 5 remake among the upcoming releases on the hybrid console.
The Teutonic retailer, however, did not just do this. In the game card, in addition to appearing the queen console from Nintendo, there is also the release date. It is October 21, 2022, the same date during which the title will be released on PlayStation 5 and on Xbox consoles.
In any case, it would be a real paradox if the Persona saga didn't arrive on Switch. And we explain why. Probably, not everyone knows that the Persona series was generated by Shin Megami Tensei, a series of titles that, still today, regularly come out on hybrid consoles.
Now that the relationship of exclusivity that linked Atlus and Sony has, in fact, expired, the time has come for the saga to also arrive on Switch. At this point, it is legitimate to ask why the announcement has not yet arrived, taking the date that appears on the German dealer page for granted.
According to various rumors, a new Nintendo Direct would be on the way by the end of June: it is, therefore, possible that the official announcement will arrive on that occasion. In any case, since this is not official information, it is good to take it with a grain of salt and wait for the announcements.
