Through a press release on its official blog, PlayStation confirmed that Variable refresh rate support will be available on PS5 in the coming months. Therefore, the Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) it can also be used on PlayStation 5.

In the release, PlayStation explains that on HDMI 2.1 compatible TVs and PC monitors, VRR will dynamically synchronize the display update rate with PlayStation 5 graphic output.
