Pokémon Scarlet and Violet: new trailer and themed OLED Switch

Author and references

The Pokémon Company has released, on official channels, a new trailer for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, highly anticipated Nintendo Switch exclusives coming November 18, 2022. The duo will allow players and players to freely explore the region of palea, freely inspired by Spain, thanks to the mechanics openworld implemented for the first time in the history of the Pokémon brand. This trailer is part of a series of official information, with which various news have been announced, such as some details on the setting and on the pngs, and the mechanics that you can meet during the adventure.

"The point is to travel far and wide around Paldea, having many experiences!" so begins Nemi one of the NPCs who will accompany us at the beginning of this new adventure.

The Pokémon Scarlet and Violet adventure will be dropped in the hands of the players. As announced in the previous trailers, the story can be addressed by following three main narrative strands, one of which will be the classic challenge of the Gyms, which will lead the protagonists to aim for the title of Champions and Champions of Paldea. This time, however, the Gym Leaders can be faced by following a order of your choice, rather than proceeding along a predetermined path, as it has always been until now. Also shown was the Ice-type Gym Leader, who has one of the new Pokémon in her team, cetitan.

Among the information released is also included the new mechanic, called Teracristal (Teracrystallization, in Spanish). All Pokémon in the Paldea region can teracrystallize, either by upgrading their Type or by acquiring a new one, depending on the Teratipe possessed. Creatures with rare Teratips are difficult to encounter but, with a little luck, you can get your hands on Pokémon that can turn the tide of battles. In the Raid Teracristal which can be addressed in multiplayer, as happened on Pokémon Sword and Shield, it will be possible to find Pokémon with uncommon Teratipes.

Paldea can be explored on the back of the legendary Pokémon on the cover, Koraidon e Miraidon, that will replace the classic MN thanks to their ability to run, climb, plow the waters and the skies.

The next November 4, 2022 also will arrive in limited edition the Nintendo OLED Switch (more performing version of the already optimal hybrid console of the large N) themed Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

The console is presented, as you will see in the video at the bottom of the article, with a black base (a bit like the original) while above we find several designs in style murals of the three starters of the new edition and different writings that border the edges of the console itself, also coloring the back of the two joycons, respectively in violet and light orange.

On the front the two Joycons have two themed logos, while the support dock for connecting to the TV is in light gray and has a pokeball-style theme on the back door. On the front are the two legendary pokémon. Over the last few minutes a new trailer for the actual game's has also appeared Pokémon Scarlet and Violet: we leave it below!
