The showcase of retrogaming titles available free of charge to all season ticket holders Nintendo Switch Online, will soon be enriched with a new title: it is Pokémon Snap per Nintendo 64, which will become part of the service starting from the next 24nd June, so in exactly a week.
We recently witnessed the return of the popular "spin-off" of the Pokémon series with a new title directly on Nintendo Switch, in a reworked version dedicated to the hybrid console of the Kyoto House (here our review of Pokémon Snap).
The stock portfolio with the aforementioned subscription continues to grow month after month, even if actually the addition of Pokémon Snap (precisely due to the arrival of the new version) seems to us a fairly dubious choice, perhaps not a priority.
The announcement took place through a video of about a minute and a half, which we propose below:
The new title sees the player travel between the islands of the Lental region, where some Pokémon and parts of the vegetation shine in a particular way. We will therefore have the purpose of looking for these Pokémon - and not only - wild and immortalize them with photographs, trying to also capture unexpected expressions. We will beat the territories from top to bottom, we will post, we will make detours, all to find the perfect place and time.
We remind you that the selection of classic titles that the Nintendo Switch Online subscription offers includes over 100 titles taken from NES and Super NES, as well as a growing stock of titles for the Nintendo 64 (including Pokémon Snap). Furthermore, anyone in possession of the subscription will be able to take advantage of the online features of all the games that include them, being able to challenge other players or share their game data online. Among other advantages, there are also some expansion packs for all subscribers, such as the pass dedicated to new tracks for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
