Announced during the Capcom Online Program, held at Tokyo Game Show 22, the publisher Capcom has made it known that after long reflection they have decided to give the "old" Sony PlayStation 4 console a swan song, revealing that Resident Evil 4 Remake will also be published there.
It is unclear whether the version PlayStation 4 will have substantial differences with the expected counterpart for the new generation, we are talking about the PS5 and Microsoft Xbox Series X | S version, certainly we can only assume a graphic downgrade and a frame rate no more than 30 fps.
Despite everything, Capcom plans to reveal more about the game at the next named event Resident Evil Showcase, which will take place next October 2022.
