Step 1: Open MS Word > Click on the file archive tab at the top left of the document.
Step 2: Click on archive tab> click Choices in the context menu.
Step 3: A Word options window> click Advanced tab on the left side of the panel> on the right side of the panel, scroll down to general category> uncheck the Update automatic links on opening option> press ok.

How to fix Microsoft Excel opens very slowly in Windows 10 using file options
Step 1: Repeat the same procedure with MS Excel da Step 1 to Step 2.
Step 2: On the left side of the panel, click Advanced > on the right side of the panel> general category> deselect Request to update automatic links. Press ok to save and exit.
Step 3: Repeat the steps of 4 pass to 6 pass as in the case of MS Word.
