After the events of yesterday, we knew for sure that something would move regarding the leaks that came out yesterday on GTA 6, game of Rockstar Games in progress and that, although we all know for sure it is in production, until yesterday nothing had leaked.
The post, which comes via i social network of the company, seems to comment on the events but at the same time shows an iron decision by the company to continue with its roadmap, without speeding up the reveal even if all over the world have circulated video gameplay (which being in development, show how the game is coming but not what it will be like in the end).
A message from Rockstar Games
We recently had a network intrusion where a third party illegally logged in and downloaded confidential information from our systems, including development footage for the upcoming Grand Theft Auto. As of now, we don't believe we will have any disruption to our online gaming services, much less any long-term effect on the development of our upcoming projects.
We are very sad to have details on our upcoming game already shared with all of you. Our work on the next Grand Theft Auto will continue as planned as we remain committed to delivering a gaming experience to you, our players, that will exceed your expectations. We will update you soon and, of course, we will introduce you to our new game when it is ready. We want to thank all of you for your continued support during this situation.
