Many users have reported an issue that says Windows 10 does not detect HDMI TV. Here are practical solutions to solve this problem. But before you start trying these solutions, please try two steps as below:
- Just unplug the HDMI cable from your TV and then plug it back in.
- Try a new and different HDMI cable to see if it's an HDMI cable defect.
- After connecting the computer to the TV using an HDMI cable, make sure you select the correct HDMI port from the TV remote control. (As most TVs have multiple HDMI ports called HDMI1, HDMI2, etc.)
Solution 1: Select Mirror Screen in the Intel HD Graphics Control Panel
one. The right mouse button on the desktop anywhere.
2. Click Graphic properties
3. Click To exhibit
4. Select Multiple screens
5. Click Detect and / or select Mirror screen
Solution 2: Check the screen output is working properly or not
1- Create a file right click on the desktop everywhere in empty space.
2 - In the context menu that appears, simply click on personalize.
3 - Check if you can watch TV as a second monitor or not. You can also click Detect to determine the views.
If you can't watch TV as a second monitor. Try the steps shown.
1 - Press Windows logo key + P together.
2 - Click Double to choose Duplicate.
3 - If that doesn't work, click Zoom in to choose Extend.
Check if your Windows 10 PC is detecting HDMI or not.
Solution 3: Restart your PC with the HDMI cable connected and the TV turned on
1- Make sure the HDMI cable is connected and the TV is turned on.
2 - Now restart your computer.
Solution 4: Update the Intel graphics driver
1 - Press Windows key + r.
2 - Write devmgmt.msc and press the Enter key.
3 - Now, once Device administrator opens, just click screen adapter to expand it.
4 - Now, right click on Intel graphics controller Y updating driver.
Solution 5: Troubleshoot hardware devices.
1 - Go to settings.
2 -Now, click Update and security.
3 - Click solve problems in the menu on the left.
4 - Click Hardware devices from the right.
5 - Once expanded, click run the troubleshooter.
