If you happen to encounter BSoD with the error "System scan for high IRQL detected an incorrect driver downloadAs you must know, it is one of the most serious errors you see in Windows 10.
This error usually appears after a Windows update or perhaps if you have recently updated the operating system. Apparently it is due to a driver that got corrupted because it didn't download properly and the common associated files are mwac.sys, invprotectdrv64 sys, etc. So if you get the message "System scan for high IRQL detected an incorrect driver download“Here's how to fix it.
Solution: Using the C drive properties.
Step 1: press the Windows key + E together on the keyboard. This will open the file Browser on file window.
Step 2: Now in Browser on file window, go left, find What PC and left click on it.
Step 3: Then, on the right side of the window, scroll down to find the file Unit C [Local Disk (C :)] and right click on it. Please select Property in the context menu.
4 phase: A Local Disk Properties (C 🙂 select the window Tools language. Navigate to Error checking section and click Check button.
Step 5: So in Error checking (local disk (C :)) message, click Exploration unit.
Now, wait for the scan to finish. It will take a few minutes, so please wait patiently. Once finished, it will tell you if it finds any errors or not.
In case of errors, you can act accordingly. However, if this does not detect any errors but you still see the message then follow the next method.
Method 2: running SFC / Scannow
Step 1: To go Home at the desk and type Symbol of the system in the search box.
Step 2: Right-click on the result and select Run as administrator Open Symbol of the system in administrator mode.
Step 3: A Symbol of the system in the window, type the following command and press Log in:
sfc / scannow
This process takes several minutes, so please wait patiently for it to complete. If it finds any errors, it will automatically fix it.
Once complete, restart your PC and you should no longer get the BSoD with the error.
