The event viewer helps you manage the integrity and security of your system. It also mentions errors in case something is abnormal in the system.
How to open the event viewer?
1] Press Win + R to open the run window. Write the command eventvwr.

Many users have reported the following error in Event Viewer:
The driver encountered a driver error in Device Ide Ideport0
Try the following solutions to fix the problem:
1} Update the drivers
2} Reconnect the hard drive cables to the motherboard.
3} Update the BIOS
Solution 1] Run a CHKDSK scan
1. close cmd in the Windows 10 search box.
2. Right-click the Command Prompt icon that just appeared, then right-click and run as administrator.
3. Now, run the following command given below and hit the Enter key to execute it.
chkdsk / f
Wait a while to finish it completely.
Solution 2] Update the drivers
Since we don't know which driver is causing the problem, we should update all system drivers. The procedure for updating the drivers is as follows:
1] Press Win + R to open the Run window and type the command devmgmt.msc.
2] Right click and update all drivers.
Updating all drivers is a difficult task. You can use any of the third party software products available online to help with the same. I usually use the automatic update option from Intel Download Center.
Solution 3] Reconnect the hard drive cables to the motherboard.
While this is something that should only be done by a hardware expert, this was one of the most helpful steps in solving the problem.
Check that the connections are tight and that there is no dust on the base of the connectors.
Solution 4] Update the BIOS
The problem could also be due to an outdated BIOS. You can download BiOS from the manufacturer's website and install it. Make sure the make and model of the system are correct.
To update the BIOS, simply Google your computer / laptop model number and Google BIOS and download and click to run the BIOS.
