
During the Summer Game Fest 2022, Naughty Dog's Neil Druckmann talked about The Last of Us multiplayer, confirming that the project is a reality and is progressing well, and it has in fact been revealed that everything has an exit window set at 2023.
We are talking about a product that has been talked about for years, of which unfortunately we do not have any details at the moment, apart from leaks that have anticipated some issues, but finally with a official concept art that has been unveiled. During the conference, even if we have not yet had to deal with any kind of gameplay or anticipations regarding what the experience will be able to offer, since we do not even know on which consoles the title will be launched, and if this will have way to reach even on PC.
What we know is that in full Naughty Dog style this multiplayer game will in any case offer a narrative component, which, however, is still fully mysterious and will certainly have the opportunity to be deepened only in the vicinity of the debut of the experience, of which at the moment the exit window is still far away.
According to what has been anticipated so far, the mode known as "Factions" should present itself as an experience ready to offer multiple survival mechanics, thus allowing players to clash and collaborate for survival purposes.
