Elon Musk has officially gained control of Twitter, as it acquired the company after having obtained just over 9%, with the choice that was then approved and the capital used to finalize the agreements immediately made public.
The acquisition was carried out with a total of $ 44 billion used, with each stock that was purchased specifically for 54,20 $, figure offered in early April to Twitter by Elon Musk and now officially confirmed. A real fortune for sure, even for the entrepreneur, who obviously made a significant investment to say the least.
It has been months since Elon Musk began to have an interest in the social network, and an operation like this was now only a matter of time, given the finances of the well-known entrepreneur at the head of companies such as Tesla e SpaceX.
Of course, it must be said that everything was with great surprise approved by the company, which decided to surrender totally to Musk after his offer, certainly tempting, but still subjected to criticism for some time now, due to the many users who would not want the man at the head of such an important social network.
It must be said that at the moment there are no details of any kind regarding the operations that Musk will carry out for the platform, considering in fact that we only talked about how this will have to be free for everyone and not impose censorship of any kind, but it is likely that after the complete purchase something can be revolutionized based on the ideas of the well-known entrepreneur.
